President Trump strongly condemned Vladimir Putin after Russia’s largest air raid on Ukraine, calling him “absolutely crazy” and warning that a full-scale invasion would be catastrophic for Russia. The attack left at least 13 dead and dozens injured, including children.
Trump, who has previously maintained a good relationship with Putin, now says he is baffled by the Russian leader’s actions and is considering further sanctions. “I’m not happy with Putin. He’s killing a lot of people,” Trump said.
He also took issue with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy’s public statements, urging him to change his tone. Zelenskyy, meanwhile, called for more international pressure on Moscow.
