In a statement, the Kingdom said the move reflects the strong commitment of these countries to advancing the peace process and supporting a two-state solution in line with international resolutions.
The Kingdom expressed hope that this recognition would encourage further international acknowledgment of Palestinian statehood. Saudi Arabia emphasized that such steps are vital in realizing the aspirations of the Palestinian people to live peacefully and securely on their land.
