Google’s AI Can Now Turn Your 20-Page Doc into a Presentation

Date:

Google has just released a powerful new AI feature that can condense your long-form content into a concise presentation. The new tool in Gemini Canvas can read a multi-page report or document and automatically generate a structured, professional Google Slides deck.
This tool is a massive time-saver. The AI intelligently parses the text, identifying key sections to create titles, adding breaks for clarity, and even sourcing relevant visuals to support the content. It does the heavy lifting of formatting in seconds.
This new capability is housed in Gemini’s Canvas mode, Google’s AI-powered workspace for writing and brainstorming. Now, this tool serves as a bridge, transforming your detailed text into a visually engaging format ready for any audience.
The workflow is flexible. After the AI creates the draft, the presentation can be exported directly to Google Slides, allowing users to make any final tweaks, add their own insights, or collaborate with their team.
The feature is rolling out globally now to both personal and Workspace accounts. It appears to be reaching Gemini Advanced (Pro) subscribers first, with a wider rollout for all users anticipated soon.
