Benoit Blanc’s New Style is Front and Center in ‘Wake Up Dead Man’ Teaser

Date:

While the mystery is compelling, it’s Benoit Blanc’s new style that’s catching eyes in the first teaser for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. The preview for the third film showcases a significant makeover for Daniel Craig’s character, who now sports longer hair and a sharp three-piece suit.
This stylistic shift accompanies a dark and complex case: the murder of a priest (Josh Brolin) during a church service. This “impossible crime” will require all of Blanc’s focus, and his new, more serious look may be a reflection of the case’s gravity. The teaser promises a suspenseful and atmospheric film.
The cast is a formidable collection of talent, including Glenn Close, Kerry Washington, Mila Kunis, and Jeremy Renner, all of whom will play key roles in the unfolding drama. The visual refresh for Blanc suggests a new evolution for the character, adding another layer of interest for returning fans.
The film recently had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6th. It is scheduled for a limited theatrical engagement starting November 26th, before making its highly anticipated debut on Netflix on December 12th.
