eSkilled Integrates Advanced AI Analytics into RTO Management System

Date:

eSkilled has launched RTO Analytics & AI Reporting, a groundbreaking feature integrated into its student and learning management platform specifically for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) in Australia. This new capability aims to expedite access to crucial operational data for RTO staff, covering various aspects such as enrolment statistics, learner progress, compliance requirements, financial matters, attendance records, and overall organisational performance. By introducing this system, eSkilled seeks to minimize the dependence on spreadsheets, manual data exports, and the need for specialized reporting skills.

The comprehensive reporting system encompasses 29 reportable entities and includes over 650 reportable fields that provide detailed insights into student information, enrolments, trainer credentials, financial data, attendance, quality management, risk management, continuous improvement efforts, and AVETMISS data. Users have the flexibility to create reports using a straightforward point-and-click interface or by utilizing natural-language prompts to specify their data needs. The AI then takes over to identify pertinent data, apply necessary filters, generate visualizations, and configure the final report. Typical queries might involve identifying trainers whose credentials are nearing expiration, pinpointing invoices unpaid for over 30 days, or comparing withdrawal rates across different qualifications.

Scott Rogers, CEO of eSkilled, highlights that this feature is designed to democratize access to operational data for RTO employees, eliminating the necessity for advanced database or reporting expertise. Complementing this, the update introduces AI Chat with Your Data, enabling staff to inquire about operational insights using natural language. The responses are crafted from live data extracted from the organisation’s student management system, allowing for real-time analysis of attendance, completion rates, financial performance, compliance activities, and quality management.

The platform further enhances functionality with role-specific dashboards and reporting tools tailored for various roles including executives, RTO managers, training coordinators, compliance teams, finance staff, trainers, and administrators. Additional features include KPI dashboards, scheduled reports, AVETMISS data-quality monitoring, trainer credential tracking, and organisation-wide reporting capabilities.

Ensuring data security and access control, eSkilled confirms that the analytics and AI features adhere to existing user permissions, restricting data access based on each staff member’s role. AI queries utilize sanitized and permission-controlled data, with audit logging in place to record reporting and AI activities. These measures are geared towards supporting organisational governance and meeting regulatory requirements. The RTO Analytics & AI Reporting is set to be available in eSkilled SMS & LMS by August 2026, marking a significant enhancement to eSkilled’s platform, which integrates student management, learning management, online training delivery, compliance functions, and business intelligence.
